Organizing Every Day

Kitchen

  1. Putting stuff away

  2. Try to keep your kitchen counters clear of clutter. Put away all the groceries, so you have prep space for cooking.

  3. Make it part of your bedtime routine, by spending 15 minutes loading the dishwasher and cleaning the kitchen counters.

  4. Waking up to a clutter free kitchen is priceless. Even if it takes an extra hour in the morning to clear the clutter, it’s a great way to start your day. You will feel compelled to keep it up, and to keep the kitchen clutter free.

  5. You don’t need to be obsessed about it, just turn it into a new habit.

  6. Keep your kitchen table clutter free. You will notice that there is room now to invite friends and family over for a meal.

  7. Place a basket on your kitchen table to coral loose papers, or items that need to be relocated. That way, you can move the basket when it is time to sit down at the table.

Laundry

  1. I like to change out my sheets, bathroom and ktichen towels, on a weekly basis.

  2. I find that as the weekend rolls around, I am reminded to keep up with the laundry and weekly turn over.

  3. Having the whole weekend to complete this task, is less stressful, and more doable.

  4. I turn the TV on when I am changing sheets in the bedroom. Then I will call it a win!

  5. Small changes to your weekly chores make a difference.

  6. Find what works for you.

  7. KEEP IT SIMPLE!
